Sooooooooooooo Ethiopian

Before we traveled to pick up Yonas, whenever I showed pictures of him to other families who have adopted from Ethiopia or traveled to Ethiopia they always said the same thing, "He looks so Ethiopian." Even an African doctor that my sister works with told her that. I never really understood this, until we had Yonas in our arms. Now whenever I look at other Ethiopian children, I see Yonas' eyes or smile or eyelashes. It is amazing!! I love that he has these distinguishable characteristics from his native country. What a gift!ift!
