Hope

We officially accepted a referral for a 3 and a half month old baby boy yesterday! Our little guy looks very healthy and we were told from our Ethiopian representative that he "is very smiley, also he wants constant watch and care. He likes to be fed and smiles when constantly watched." How great is that? I am ready to dish out a lot of love and attention, so it's a good thing I am taking a year's leave from my job. I think someone is going to be taking up a bit of my time:) The most amazing part of this is that our little one's abandonment period is up TOMORROW! Yes, that's right, TOMORROW!!!! So that means that we can apply for a court date next week and, if all goes well, still travel in the summer. A month ago, I never thought that this could even be a possiblity. Our hope is back!
