Look what I found....

Being the adoption blog stalker that I now am, does have a few perks. I am finding all kinds of new and exciting places on the internet that I never knew existed. My latest and greatest is Etsy, a website where people who make any kind of craft have sites where they sell their wares. There are thousands of different items for sale from pottery to jewelry to clothes, it is fabulous!!! A few of my favorite sellers on there are Citefuzz who makes sweet things for children and Junk Posse who makes African necklaces with all of the proceeds going to her daughter's Ethiopian adoption. (I am not so secretly hoping for one of these necklaces for my birthday, Chris) I have broken all of my own rules and bought a precious little blankie for our little pea from Citefuzz (pictured above). I had images of our little pea carrying this perfect blankie around the house which I shared with JEP who quickly brought me back down to Earth saying that he will probably carry everything else around, like his dad's socks, before he carries MY favorite blanket! A girl can dream.

Here's a question, will you keep in contact with the mother/parents once your little pea is in the States? Enjoying a beer in Berlin whilst reading your blog.
