At our house, we like to celebrate Birth Week rather than just Birthday. Chris and I feel that one day out of 365 isn't sufficient to celebrate YOUR day. So during your birth week you can play that card in any situation that you choose, such as, "I would really like to watch that movie, you know it is my birth week." Or, "I would really like the rocky road ice-cream rather than the chocolate brownie, you know it is my birth week." So this is Yonas' birth week and not only did he play his birth week card to get the Steelers to win the Super Bowl (that's MY boy:) but he keeps flashing his card for extra rides on his dad's shoulders, a second strawberry bar and a later bedtime. So give birth week a chance, it is fabulous!
