This is my weekly film recommendation...A Long Way Down, a documentary with Ewan McGregor and his friend Charlie Boorman who ride their motorcycles from Scotland down through Africa to Cape Town. You are probably saying, "Gee, they sure watch a lot of movies." Yes, that is true, but we have no cable or other stations so NetFlix is our only form of entertainment, aside from Yonas of course. Last night the entire episode followed the boys through Ethiopia. It was amazing to see all of the Ethiopian people, especially all of the children, and the beautiful countryside. This is a dangerous documentary for Chris and I to watch as it brings out our nomadic tendencies. If it wasn't for our animals, we would be off! This world is too diverse to be spending all of our time in one place!
