We got up Saturday with plans of going behind our house and cutting down a Christmas tree, decorating the house and getting ready for a cookie bake-off with Darice and Dave. Well, that all went out the window when we received a call at 9:15 from our realtor that someone wanted to come look at our house that morning. (Yes, our house had been on the market for less than 24 hours when we got this call. Living at 11,500 feet, with only one other person living on your road, with a babe is tougher than we expected.) At 9:30, we received another call from a local craft show that asked if I wanted to come sell my little shirts and dresses at their show since someone didn't show up. Mind you the show was already underway, but of course we said yes! We went and sold a lot more than ever expected and received a lot of support for Ethiopia and orphans from a community that is a bit isolated. Yeah!!!! We returned home and found Darice, Dave and Zoe (Chichi's BFF:) at our door ready to make Christmas cookies. So bake we did until midnight when we ran out of sugar. I was so exhausted from all of this on Sunday that I couldn't make it to the Steeler bar to watch my beloved team. Gasp:)
Best Friends Forever!!!
