Yesterday Yonas turned 8 months old, so I thought that I would tell you 8 little tidbits about our little man.
1. We often call Yonas, Yoni. Sometime it is Yoni baloney or Yoni macaroni, but I would say we call him Yoni more often than we call him Yonas. The funny thing was that in Ethiopia people at the orphanage, at our hotel, our driver all called him Yoni and Chris and I weren't too sure that we liked it. Now here we are!
2. Yonas has one tooth up and two others have been sighted.
3. Yonas loves sweet potatoes and carrots, but isn't too sure about peas.
4. We are finally on a sleep schedule-12+ hours at night and a morning and afternoon nap of 1.5-2 hours each. Mom is happy about that:)
5. Yonas does a very sweet double wink with both eyes. We are trying to get a picture of it, but you have to be fast!
6. Yonas wants to crawl but can't figure out how to get that one leg out from under him. (I try and help but that usually results in a face plant into the wood floor:(
7. Yonas sees no need for a pacifier or blanky, all he needs is Monkey.
8. Yonas' favorite day of the week is Sunday, when he gets to watch the Steelers!

I can't believe Yoni has teeth. I check Lidya every day and ... nothin! She's 10 months old, so I'm not exactly concerned, but it would be nice if they'd at least make an appearance.
