Here are some more pics. We can't get our camera to download onto our friends' computer so we are just sending some that she has taken. We had an interesting day today. We planned to go to the markets in the morning and then to our US Embassy appointment in the afternoon. Well, we are all being driven together in a van and we spent 3.5 hours sitting outside a children's clinic. We then drove around in CRAZY traffic with animals and people walking down the main streets and the drivers all just beeping their horns at them. We had to then go pick up one of the husbands and then on to the Embassy. While going through all of the security at the Embassy and passing all of these Ethiopians waiting to get into the Embassy, Yonas decides to give us a little present of a HUGE blowout that ripped through his diaper, onesie, jeans and onto my pants and shirt. Welcome to motherhood! So to say the least, I looked and smelled great for our Embassy appointment. All in all, we are having a great time. Yonas is fabulous and just very healthy. Thanks for all of your e-mails, it is great to hear from you all!

Welcome to motherhood...forgot to tell you...always pack an extra shirt for yourself! So excited to see your family. We've been up north away from internet access and I've been thinking of you since last week. Your family is beautiful! Can't wait to hear about your trip in detail. Thanks JEP for posting!!!! Safe travels. Best butt rash healer...mix Maalox in with Caldacene powder or your butt cream. Not sure if they sell Maalox in Ethiopia, just an FYI!

Oh my!! This brings back memories from our Embassy appointment! If you recall, the EXACT same thing happened! Wow! Do our lives mirror each other or what?!!
