Growing up I loved to ride roller coasters. We lived about an hour and a half from Cedar Point, one of THE greatest amusement parks in the States. I went with my family, friends, school, church you name it. I probably went to Cedar Point at least once a summer and have fabulous memories to go along with it. Now we are on a painful roller coaster ride that I am dying to get off, the adoption roller coaster. Last week I had finally accepted that with the mess in Ethiopia we wouldn't be traveling to pick up the pea until October or November. No more tears no more sleepless nights, that was that! Well, as has been the case on this ride, we get an e-mail last week that said we have court date for July 21st. What?!?! We were told a week prior to this that we couldn't even get a court date while the investigation was still continuing. So what does this mean? Who knows? The way things have been going for us, the investigation will still be ongoing at this point, so we won't pass court. Aren't we about due for some good luck for a change?

I love Cedar Point!!! I totally miss those carefree summer days when your only concern was how long the lines for the roller coasters were.
Your good luck will come, I'm sure you get sick of hearing about it, but it will. Hang in there.
Cedar Point...weren't those the days? Class trips, birthdays, etc.
I'm actually going next week with Doug's and Bob's families. Now that I'm old, I get sick on all the rides!
Life is a rollercoaster isn't it? Ups, downs, thrills and spills. We can't predict what is around the next bend, we just have to go with it. I know you are having many uphill battles right now, but just imagine how wonderful the ride is going to be on the other side. Hang in there guys...your day will come. And when you get your pea...that is when the real ride begins! It will be worth every minute of heartache!
