Yesterday we met with 2 other couples who are both adopting baby boys from Ethiopia and baby girls from China. All of our boys are less than a month apart in age and we are only a few months apart in the China adoption marathon. It was amazing to talk with other people who know EXACTLY what we are going through in our journey to start a family. Looking at pictures of our boys and talking a mile a minute about all things adoption was a great release for me. Last week was a tough one with all of the depressing news out of Ethiopia, but this meeting helped me to refocus on the big picture...our little ones. We laughed at what we are going to look like when we all go to Six Flags or Water World together with our 3 little Chinese girls and our 3 little Ethiopian boys. I can't wait for that day!
