So, now what? After our loss of Sophonias, Chris and I had to decide whether or not we wanted to move forward with another adoption. As we have experienced with Sophonias, there is great urgency in Ethiopia to bring these babies home. We have learned the harsh reality of the life expectancy of babies, 1 out of 10 die before their first birthday, as being true. For this reason, we have told our agency that we want to continue forward. We believe with all of our heart that we have another son in Ethiopia who is meant to complete this amazing journey. Stay tuned, hopefully we'll have some good news in the next week or two.

Man you guys - that just warms my heart. I am so happy right now - you guys are sooo doing the right thing.
You know you have our prayers throughout this whole journey.
Thank you for staying in the process and loving Ethiopia like you do.
So glad to hear of your decision. I can't imagine what you have been through the last couple of weeks.
There is a lucky little boy somewhere in Ethiopia.
Happy to hear you've decided to continue your journey. You two will make a little Ethiopian child feel very happy and very loved soon. We will keep you in our prayers as you continue the process. We love you guys!
Mary - I'm sure that must have been a really hard decision for you. You two must be really strong people, I admire you and definitely will be thinking of you over the next few weeks. Can't wait to keep reading to see where this journey takes you.
