We received a message from our agency yesterday regarding the poor health of the children at the orphanage that our agency works with. (This is where our little pea will come from.) There are about 160 children in this orphanage and at the moment the children enter the orphanage with no medical history. Our agency is trying to set up a process where every child is given a complete physical before they enter into the total population. The main medical concerns at this time are malnutrition, pneumonia, TB and intestinal parasites. This weekend 3 doctors are going to the orphanage to evaluate all of the children and give them the care that they need. Over the past 2 weeks, 2 babies, who have already been referred to families in the States, have passed away. These children were already someone's son and daughter. Please keep these little ones in your thoughts and prayers!

Hey Mary. It's your favorite first cousin Joe. Susan sent me the link to your blog. Good luck with the adoption process. I'm not so sure you'll get a little Steelers fan, though. When your precious one arrives, I'll be sure to send a toddler size Bernie Kosar jersey your way.
